Our family story
Trinidadian. Mother. Former nurse. Lifelong cook. The heart of Ms. B's Kitchen.

"Cooking is how I show love."
Ms. B
Born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, Brenda Chinapoo, affectionately known as "Ms. B," has always carried the warmth, flavor, and spirit of Trinidad with her wherever life has taken her.
In her early twenties, Brenda migrated to England, where she pursued a career in nursing and spent many years caring for others.
Her journey eventually brought her to Florida in the early 2000s, but throughout every chapter of her life, one thing remained constant: her love for bringing people together through food.
For Brenda, cooking has always been an expression of love. From family gatherings to community events, she became the person everyone could count on for an unforgettable meal. Her kitchen was a gathering place, and her authentic Trinidadian dishes earned her a reputation among family and friends as simply some of the best around.
That lifelong passion eventually grew into something much bigger.
Alongside her sons, Brenton Chinapoo and Triston Chinapoo, Brenda transformed generations of recipes, tradition, and love into Ms. B's Kitchen. Together, the family opened their first restaurant in Margate, Florida, in 2024, followed by their Atlanta area location in 2026.
Today, Ms. B's Kitchen represents far more than a restaurant. It is a celebration of family, culture, community, and the incredible food of Trinidad & Tobago.
Brenda's heart and soul can be felt throughout the Ms. B's Kitchen experience, from the recipes and flavors to the warm hospitality behind the brand. Every dish tells part of her story and gives customers, whether they grew up with Trinidadian food or are experiencing it for the first time, an opportunity to taste something truly authentic.
From Trinidad to England to America, and now to tables near and far, Ms. B's story is served in every bite.
